Undergraduate

Enrolment to the undergraduate program is 30 students every academic year. Currently, there are more than 100 registered students. A joint educational program is being executed in conjunction with the Department of Architecture and the Department of Landscape Architecture first three semesters, in order to provide students an architectural foundation and to provide them with the possibility of double major or transfers. By the fourth semester, our students are enrolled in interior architecture proper in an interactive atmosphere discussing the currents trends and issues of interior architecture with professionals.

The graduates of the Department of Interior Architecture are aimed to have skills to analyze visual, functional, technical, constructional and economical dynamics related to the design of interior environments at a wide spectrum of scales. Undergraduate students receive the degree of “Interior Architect” upon the completion of the program and are eligible to practice in Turkey. ITU Interior Architecture Department has just given its first graduates in the year 2006.
